This is the first release from a new act featuring Loretta Heywood, known globally for her work with Bomb the Bass and her many varied projects. The founders Keith and Loretta met in a serendipitous moment through a mutual friend. Keith was always a fan of her voice and her work and had a song he was working on in mind for her. Sun on my Skin was born of this first collaboration, working between London and Auckland. The narrative is about the longing and acceptance, in how we feel when there is a gap in our souls when we're no longer with someone. Life goes on...we seek light to find balance. But the song is for the listener to interpret. More to come from Kiss of Deers very soon.
